Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect when you shop or sign up, and how we use it. We collect only what we need to run the shop, we don't sell your personal information, and we don't track you around the internet.

What we collect

• Order details — your name, shipping and billing address, email, and phone (if provided), so we can fulfill and support your order.
• Payment information — handled entirely by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
• Email sign-ups — if you join our list, we store your email with our email provider to send newsletters and updates. You can unsubscribe anytime, and every email has a working unsubscribe link and our postal address, as U.S. law requires.
• Usage data — basic, standard information your browser sends, plus cookies needed to keep your cart working. Our host keeps routine server logs (IP address, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.
• Messages you send us — whatever you write when you email or contact us, so we can answer you.

Service providers we share with

We share the minimum necessary with the providers who help us operate. Each handles your data under its own privacy terms. The categories are:

• Cart and checkout — Snipcart, which runs the shopping cart and the checkout flow.
• Payments — our payment processor, which handles card details directly.
• Email — our newsletter and transactional email provider.
• Shipping — the carriers that deliver your order, which need your address.
• Hosting — our web host, which stores the site and its server logs.

Beyond those, we share information only when we are legally required to, when we need to in order to investigate fraud or abuse, or if the business is ever sold — in which case it would transfer with the business and this policy would continue to apply until we told you otherwise.

No tracking, no advertising pixels

This shop runs no analytics platform, no advertising pixel and no retargeting tags. We do not have a Google Analytics tag, a Meta/Facebook pixel, or anything similar. Nothing here follows you to other websites, and we do not build an advertising profile of you. If that ever changes, we will say so on this page before it does.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep your shopping cart and checkout working. You can control cookies in your browser settings, though disabling them may break the cart. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control(GPC) or “Do Not Track” signal, we honor it — though as noted above, there is no advertising tracking here to switch off.

We do not sell your personal information

We have never sold, rented or traded personal information, and we do not do so now.

Nevada residents: Nevada law (NRS 603A.340 and following) gives you the right to tell a website operator not to sell your covered information. Even though we do not sell it, you may submit a verified request to our designated request address, sales@sigilandsage.com, with “Nevada opt-out” in the subject line. We will respond within 60 days.

• How to review or change your information: email sales@sigilandsage.com and tell us what you would like to see, correct or remove. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, so that we are not handing your information to someone else. We respond within 60 days.
• Third parties collecting information over time and across sites: no. This shop runs no analytics or advertising tracking, so it is not used to build a cross-site profile of you.

Data retention

We keep order records as long as needed for our business and tax obligations, then delete or anonymize them. Newsletter subscribers are kept until you unsubscribe, plus a suppression record afterwards so we do not accidentally add you back.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect what we hold: the site is served over HTTPS, card details never touch our servers, and administrative access is limited to the people who need it. But no website is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please don't send sensitive personal information by email.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from emails at any time, and you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing sales@sigilandsage.com. We will not treat you any differently for asking.

Children

This shop is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Other sites we link to

We link out to shipping carriers, social media and occasional outside resources. Once you leave this site, that company's privacy practices apply, not ours.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Continuing to use the shop after a change means you accept the updated policy.
