About the Amulets & Jewelry shelf
A pendant worn every day stops being jewelry and starts being a habit, which is what an amulet is for. This shelf carries pentacles and pentagrams in pewter and sterling, hamsas, evil-eye charms in glass, Thor's hammers, triple moons, and pocket stones small enough to ride in a coin pocket and be found by the thumb during a hard conversation.
Most pieces are pewter, cast in the United States, and come on a cord; the sterling pieces are marked as such and priced accordingly. Sizes are listed in inches on every product page, because a talisman that reads as bold in a photograph may be three-quarters of an inch across in the hand. We describe what each symbol has traditionally stood for and let you decide what you carry.
