About the Incense & Censers shelf

Resin on a lit charcoal disc is the oldest incense there is, and it is still the best. Frankincense tears, myrrh, copal, dragon's blood, benzoin, and the church blends that mix several. Cored sticks and cones for a quicker burn, and the vessels to hold all of it: brass censers on chain, cast-iron cauldrons with legs, ceramic bowls that take a bed of sand.

A charcoal disc runs hot enough to scorch a table through a thin dish, so pair resin with something heavy or sand-filled. Sticks want a holder that catches the ash. Each product page lists what's in the box and the size of the vessel.

Open a window a crack. Resin smoke is thick, and the room will thank you.
